About us
Orso is a place where Italian tradition and Australian produce meet.
Modern European dining with an Italian accent.
Orso sits in the leafy streets of Rose Park, five minutes from the city. Opened in 2018 by Andre Ursini, the building dates to 1894 — its bluestone walls lovingly restored and inside you’ll find the open kitchen, a sun-filled courtyard, an intimate dining room, and a cellar hidden beneath it all.
A modern European restaurant at heart, the cooking is rooted in fire and guided by season — produce sourced from Andre's farm in the Adelaide Hills, handled with care, and brought to the table in dishes designed to be shared alongside a wine list worth exploring.
Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday, and Sunday lunch. Available for private functions and off-site catering.
At the front of Orso sits Willmotts Gastronomia — an ever-evolving space that moves from vibrant café and delicatessen by day to wine and cocktail bar by night. With a history tracing back to a butcher shop established in 1885, the space has been many things. Today it is your neighbourhood Italian bar — coffee in the morning, something worth sipping in the evening, and a menu that holds its own at every hour in between.
Begin your Orso evening here.
